Notice Regarding Seismic Preservation Work on the Prison House and Central Guard House of the Original Abashiri Prison
Starting June 24, 2025, seismic preservation and restoration work will be carried out on the 1st and 3rd wings of the five-wing radial structure of the Prison House and Central Guard House of the original Abashiri Prison.
During the construction period, access to the 1st and 3rd wings will be restricted. However, the 2nd, 4th, and 5th wings will remain open to visitors as usual.
